Pasta Aglio E Olio is an easy pasta with olive oil, Parmesan Cheese and red pepper flake.
Ingredients:
1 Lb. Pasta
1/3 cup Olive Oil
2T Garlic Minced or 4 cloves garlic minced
½ teaspoon red pepper flake
2T dried parsley
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
Pasta Aglio E Olio Instructions
- Make pasta according to package instructions, set aside 1 ½ Cups Pasta Water (12 oz). Drain pasta.
- Heat olive oil back in pasta pan, add garlic and red pepper flake and saute 30 seconds.
- Add the 12 oz. of the pasta water to the pan.
- Carefully add pasta back to pan/sauce and toss.
- Add 2T parsley and 1 Cup Parm Cheese. Stir into pasta.
- Allow to rest 5 minutes to absorb the water.
